Versiones del llamado en varias lenguas se encuentran en: http://www.TheColorOrange.net/uk/page21_es Para apoyar la idea, véase: http://www.TheColorOrange.net/uk/page35_es *** L L A M A D O * ¿Puede China prohibir el color naranja? ** Instamos a todas y todos a adherirse a una manifestación global por los derechos humanos en China, una iniciativa que dejará al régimen indefenso Este es un llamado a apoyar el proyecto theColorOrange.net para mostrar a China que somos muchos que, con motivo de los Juegos Olímpicos en agosto del 2008 tenemos un ojo vigilante a las violaciones de los derechos humanos en China. La idea es a la vez sofisticada y sencilla. Con el uso del color naranja en cualquier contexto durante los JO, tanto en China y otras partes, enviaremos la señal de que hay una lamentable situación de los derechos humanos en China. Puede tratarse de un sombrero naranja, una corbata, maletas, bolígrafos, papel, brazaletes. etc. Incluso el mero acto de pelar una naranja puede, según las circunstancias, ser una afirmación señalada. Ningún movimiento político o religioso puede tener privilegios de la iniciativa. Con la participación en el proyecto se muestra tan sólo un apoyo a la lucha por derechos humanos en China. El gobierno pretende llevar a cabo Juegos Olímpicos perfectos e intachables para promover a China como una sociedad moderna y eficaz frente a teleespectadores en todo el mundo. No escatimará esfuerzos para evitar crítica a telón abierto. Pero exactamente el uso del color naranja puede romper la censura severa y echar la zancadilla al avance propagandístico del régimen. A la vez millones de chinos oprimidos tendrán una voz durante los JO. La Carta Olímpica estipula como principios fundamentales del Olimpismo "el respeto por los principios éticos fundamentales universales" y "de favorecer el establecimiento de una sociedad pacífica y comprometida con el mantenimiento de la dignidad humana." Parece difícil mantener que el régimen chino cumple con estos ideales. Mas el uso del color naranja es una expresión apolítica en perfecto unísono con los principios fundamentales del Olimpismo. El proyecto logrará tan sólo si muchísimos conocen el sentido del Color Naranja. Normalmente sería preciso una cifra de millones de Euros en publicidad. No tenemos tanto dinero pero es de esperar que recibiremos apoyo de ti y millones de otros simpatizantes. Con esfuerzo común para divulgar la idea, tal vez podremos crear un 'efecto mariposa' generando un viento naranja soplando sobre China. Las maneras de apoyar la iniciativa son infinitas: * Puedes enviar este mensaje a todos tus contactos. Puedes visitar la página www.TheColorOrange.net para subscribirte a nuestro boletín de informaciones. De este modo recibirás informes actualizados sobre el proyecto. También puedes poner tus propias ideas en la página y de tal manera inspirar a los demás. * Puedes hacer tu propio uso creativo del Color Naranja en relación con los eventos de la olimpiada. Si eres deportista o socio de una asociación a favor de los derechos humanos, puedes instarles a usar el naranja en sus materiales y dar apoyo público a la campaña. * Los equipos holandeses son, debido a su indumentaria naranja, miembros nacidos del proyecto. ¿Cómo con los héroes olímpicos de tu país, son ellos héroes tan sólo en estricto sentido deportivo? Imagínate que el primer ganador de oro seque su sudor con una toalla naranja..... El escultor danés Jens Galschiot es el iniciador de la campaña The Color Orange. El artista es independiente de cualquier interés político o religioso. Muchas veces ha llevado a cabo manifestaciones artísticas en defensa del humanismo, una vez en cooperación con el movimiento democrático chino. El Color Naranja ha sido inspirado, entre otras cosas, por la afirmación del pintor Kandinsky de que "el color naranja es el rojo humanizado por el amarillo". El color de China es justamente el rojo, y por tanto podemos tal vez apoyar a las fuerzas humanas introduciendo el Color Naranja. Pero la opción por el Color Naranja se fundamenta también en la inspiración del uniforme de los prisioneros de Guantánamo, los monjes de Tibet y Birmania, etc. Esperamos que una multitud de individuos y organizaciones se adhieran a la campaña y que hagan uso del Color Naranja.
